Find your roof

Trace one roof face
Tap each corner of the roof face you’d put panels on — usually the one facing closest to south. The area updates as you go.
Tell us the pitch and aspect
A 35° pitch facing south is the classic UK semi. Rough answers are fine; the survey confirms the detail.

Why we give you a range, not a price
A roof you trace from space tells us the shape and the aspect. It doesn’t tell us what’s underneath it. Rafter spacing, the state of the covering, where the scaffold can stand, how far the cable run is to the consumer unit and whether that board needs upgrading all move the number — sometimes by a lot.
So the calculator gives you an honest range built from our own current prices, and shows you exactly what it assumed. Anyone who gives you a fixed price for solar without looking at your loft is guessing.
