Manchester Renewables fitted solar PV right across a new-build development in Sale, Greater Manchester — just off Washway Road. The scheme runs to 46 houses, each one finished with 16 of the 425W Solfit panels, alongside the apartment blocks on the same site.
On the apartments the array goes onto an Esdec mounting frame in an east-west orientation — two blocks of panels per roof — adding another 57 panels to the development. The video was filmed during the finishing-off phase, with the team completing the last apartment block over the following couple of weeks. Across the houses and apartments that is more than 790 panels on a single development.

We're on our site today in Sale, just off Washway Road. If you're local to the area you've probably seen it. We've done 46 houses on here — each house has got 16 of the 425W Solfit panels on. Getting towards the end now, they're just doing the last few over there, but look how good these look. We're also on the apartment block here — we've done 57 panels on the apartments. For the apartments the lads are all cracking on now: Esdec frame install, east-west orientation, two blocks of panels. We've got that last apartment block to do there, once that's ready, in the next couple of weeks.
